Delivery of tickets and vouchers
Everything sold here is delivered digitally and immediately. Nothing is posted, nothing is couriered, and there is no delivery charge of any kind.

Nothing is shipped
There is no physical product, so there is no shipment, no tracking number and no delivery fee.
BookMyYaansells bus tickets and hotel stays. What you buy is a confirmed reservation, and what you receive is the document that proves it — an e-ticket for a bus or a voucher for a hotel. Both are digital.
We never ask for a postal address in order to deliver a booking, and no shipping, handling, courier or delivery charge is added to any booking. Where a hotel booking records the property’s address, that is the address you are travelling to, not one we send anything to.
How your ticket reaches you
Three places, immediately on confirmation. You do not have to wait for any of them to be prepared.
Email, with the ticket attached
A confirmation email to the address on the booking, carrying the ticket or voucher as a PDF. It is the delivery — everything below exists because email can fail. Guest bookings are delivered the same way, to the address given at checkout.
On the booking itself
The same document is on the booking under My Bookings, for as long as the booking exists. It is generated from the stored itinerary rather than fetched from the operator, so it opens months later and reads the same. Booked as a guest? The link in your confirmation email reaches it without an account.
A text message
A short SMS with the booking reference, so you have the one detail that identifies the trip even with no signal and no inbox. It is a companion to the email, not a substitute for it — the document itself is not sent by SMS.
The ticket carries a QR code that opens the booking’s own page, so an operator or a property can check it against our records rather than taking the paper at face value.
When it arrives
On confirmation, not on a delivery schedule.
The document is issued the moment the booking is confirmed, which in the normal case is seconds after payment. There is no processing window and no dispatch step to wait through.
A slow operator is the one case where it is not instant. Some suppliers confirm asynchronously: the booking sits awaiting the operator, and the ticket is issued and sent when they answer. The booking shows that state plainly rather than looking finished, and you are emailed when it resolves — in either direction. If it does not confirm, no ticket is issued and the payment is refundable; see cancellations and refunds.
A payment debit is not a confirmation and does not start a delivery. If money has left your account and no confirmation has arrived, the booking did not complete; the payment is recorded against it and a refund is due. Do not rebook against the same payment.
If your ticket has not arrived
It has almost certainly been issued. In order of likelihood:
- Open the booking. My Bookings has the document regardless of what your inbox did. Guest booking? Use the link in your confirmation email. This is the fastest route and it does not depend on us.
- Check spam and promotions. A first email from an unfamiliar sender is filtered more often than it is lost.
- Check the address on the booking. A typo at checkout sends the ticket somewhere real and wrong. The booking page shows the address it was sent to.
- Ask us to resend it. Write to support@bookmyyaan.com with your booking reference, from the address you booked with, and we will send it again — or to a corrected address once we can confirm the booking is yours.
Travelling within the hour and still nothing? Say so in the subject line. A booking reference and a photo ID is usually enough at the boarding point while we get the document to you.
Common questions
Do I need to print the ticket?
No. Showing it on your phone is enough for bus operators and properties. The ticket page is built to print cleanly if you would rather carry paper.
Is there a delivery charge?
No, and there is no circumstance in which one is added. Nothing is shipped, so there is nothing to charge for. The full list of what can appear on your bill is on the pricing page.
Can the ticket go to a different email address?
It is sent to the address on the booking. We can resend it elsewhere once we are satisfied the booking is yours — write from the address you booked with and quote the reference. We will not send a travel document to a new address on an unverified request.
Do you deliver internationally?
The question does not arise: delivery is by email, so it reaches you wherever you are. The travel itself is within India, and payment is taken in Indian rupees.
How long can I get to the ticket?
For as long as the booking exists in your account. It is rendered from the stored itinerary rather than asked for from the operator, so it does not stop working when their systems move on — which is also why a cancellation email can attach the very ticket it is cancelling.
